Fencers Club Veterans on Guard
Combat Challenge

Yesterday, on Sunday, November 15, we held the 4th annual Veterans on Guard Team Fencing and Fundraising Challenge. Each year, the event teams up senior epee fencers with our Veteran members and Military Veterans from the Veterans on Guard program and this year was no exception.

Everybody fenced extremely well yesterday and it's a testament to the great job that Dwight is doing as the Veterans on Guard coach. A special congratulations to our winning team of Coach Alexey, Coach Sean, Darrell Armstrong and Danyiel Brustmeyer.

As we continue with the FC Veterans On Guard Wheelchair Program this year, we are excited to see how Coach Alexey leads the program starting with our first wheelchair Veteran fencer, Darrell.

FC Parents Association

This year, we are forming a Parents Association. The association members will include parents from all weapons and coaches to give insight on how to support our youth fencers and how we can build an even stronger fencing community. Additionally, this will be a great way to bring up any ideas you may have as we continue to navigate through this academic and fencing year.

We are planning a first zoom meeting on Monday, November 30. If you are interested in being a part of the Parents Association, please email us at [email protected]
Reminder: Online Registration

As a reminder, all lessons, classes and open bouting sessions should be registered online through our online portal. If you do not know your password or forgot it, please email us at [email protected] and we can help reset it for you.

Registration for all sessions will open on the Monday prior to a class or open bouting session at 12PM. Registration will close when the session is full. If a class or session is full, please register for the waitlist so that we can let you know if a spot opens up.
