December 28, 2021

Dear Members, Friends and Families,

As 2021 comes to an end, it’s amazing to look back on all that we have achieved together. To name a few accomplishments, as a community, we:

  • Cheered on 6 members of Fencers Club (including four representing the Peter Westbrook Foundation) as they represented Team USA at the Tokyo Olympic Games;
  • Welcomed 162 new members to Fencers Club across all weapons, ages and levels;
  • Worked with over 300 students at New York City schools and Veterans through Fencers Club programs;
  • Provided over $125,000 in program grants and scholarships to grow the sport of fencing and support our members; and
  • Moved into our new home at 20 West 33rd Street.

None of these milestones would have been possible without the hard work of our Coaches and Board or without donations from the Fencers Club community. Programs and scholarships are completely funded through donations and grants from our community. Thank you for all of your contributions this year!

Now is the last chance to donate in 2021 so that we can keep our momentum moving forward to the new year. With programs continuing to expand and new ones launching in January, your support can propel us into 2022.

Please make a donation to support Fencers Club programs or contribute to the building fund to add the final touches to our new Club. We have established a Giving Website to make donating easy and safe online. You can also make an in-person donation or a donation of stock. Please email info@fencersclub.org or call us at (212) 807-6947 for more information. Any amount, large or small, can make a difference.

Thank you for helping make 2021 spectacular and we’ll see you in the New Year!

Sincerely,

David Niu
